Login to your new intranet

To ensure our intranet is protected for staff use only, and to provide a personal and customisable experience, you will need to login to the intranet using your North West Anglia NHS.net email address and password followed by your usual Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method. You can view step-by-step instructions on how to access the intranet below.
Please note: your MFA login is required to access the Trust intranet, you do not need to authenticate using MFA to access websites.

A bit about Multi Factor Authentication

In order to deliver this enhanced experience to you, we have had to adapt how you access the intranet. This adaptation aligns with the experience you have accessing any of your Microsoft Office 365 applications.

When you access Office 365 applications, you use multi-factor authentication (MFA) which provides an additional layer of security to protect NHSmail users’ information. The introduction of MFA has been mandated by NHS England.

To use MFA you will, in addition to your email address and password, need a second form of authentication, such as the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone, text message or phone call. This second layer of security is designed to prevent anyone but you from accessing your account, even if they know your password.

There has been plenty of change to your new intranet and improvements have been made to enhance your experience. Did you know you can now:

  • access the intranet anywhere, on any device
  • have a personalised experience
  • interact with colleagues via our forums or comment on news articles
  • still access all of the critical information you need i.e. application portal, rotas etc
